  been living in Brunswick for years. i eat at rice at least once a week and absolutely love it. great staff, great food and great setting makes for a really special dinner. I cant recommend it enough if you are visiting this lovely town.

  Weekend away in Brunswick Heads. Tried out Rice. Awful is an understatement. Ordered seafood laksa and a chicken coconut curry. Both were tap water weak in flavour and ingredients, and seasoned with ample amounts of blandness. Go next door for pizza.

  we walked into rice restaurant - full of bonhomie - but empty of tummy - the place was relatively empty - the waiter and cook were engaged in a conversation - it was perfectly obvious we were standing there waiting service - none came - eventually i said - hi guys do you think we could sit down? - it was as though we were a sort of enemy incursion - these two women sighed as though it was a giant pain to have to interrupt their conversation because of interlopers - one of them said - "oh yeah - spose you could - why not?" we walked out and never went back...
