  Don’t be fooled by the bar snacks ,these are superb dishes all of the highest quality , great atmosphere . Cocktails were great and beer at a pub price . Excellent will be back

  Great little place. Menu is fantastic, especially the sweet potato / avo bar snack. Very reasonably priced drinks too. Highly recommend.

  Me and my partner booked a degustation and a burlesque show in Brunswick heads which both fell through. We decided to take a stroll and walk past the old bus stop made of corrugated iron roofing past the stock standard Indian, Italian and Chinese restaurants. Deb said “what’s that in the distance” dare I say an old style looking pub called the Trawler. I see it was full with people looking joyful at this new space with amazing full plates of food. I carefully step in and notice Louie the 14th is behind the bar serving up pints in mugs. I sat down and noticed no TVs on the wall like most pubs, wonderful. The King Fish Wings blew me away as an old Chef this was inspired. It was like trying to crack into crab, finding delectable morsels of Fish. The presentation of that dish was a big fat WOW from me. Then when we had the Cheese Cake Cocktail I can honestly say that the clouds had parted and the angels sang, a must have before you die. The food and the service was awesome.

  We thoroughly enjoyed the calamari and the duck spring rolls. The cocktail menu is nice with heaps of options.
